Luisa De Jesus, CHRP, CHRL

FOUNDER AND President

As the Founder and President of LD Human Resources, Luisa is a highly motivated and results-driven human resources professional with over 20 years’ experience in HR. Luisa is a Certified Human Resources Professional and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto. She also graduated with honours, obtaining her Human Resources Management certificate in 2010.

Her expertise spans professional and financial services, construction, travel and tourism, IT, not-for profit and retail. Her key strengths include: strategic consulting; performance management, succession planning; recruitment and employee relations; organizational development and learning; compensation and benefits. Luisa is committed to high professional standards that link HR best practices to business objectives, delivering results within changing environments.

Angela Zeppieri

HR Generalist

Angela is a graduate of Business Administration and holds a Bachelor of Commerce- Human Resources Management degree with Honours. Her next step is to obtain her CHRP designation. New to the field, she is ready to put all her knowledge and experiences into the workforce and always looking for new opportunities to learn and grow.

With over 10 years of customer service, she has continuously proven she is driven to provide excellent experiences in any task sent her way. She is hard-working, highly motivated, and endlessly willing to assist one in achieving their goals. She is a team player, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ariadne Barboza

HR Generalist

With a Bachelor of Commerce in Human Resource Management, Ariadne is passionate about human interaction and continuous learning in her role as an HR Generalist. She thrives on the opportunity to connect with others, and contributes innovative solutions and a proactive approach, always aiming to foster a positive and productive work environment.

Ariadne excels across various HR functions, with a particular fondness for employee relations, policy development, and total rewards. Currently pursuing her CHRL designation, Ariadne is dedicated to furthering her expertise and staying at the forefront of HR best practices. Known for her strong communication skills and resilience, she embraces challenges as opportunities for growth, consistently pushing herself out of her comfort zone.

Joyce graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources. She has extensive experience in employee engagement, conflict resolution, and talent development. Known for being strategic, approachable, and solutions-oriented, Joyce is passionate about fostering inclusive workplaces and creating environments where individuals and teams can excel.

Whether she’s supporting organizational initiatives, addressing workplace challenges, or implementing HR strategies, Joyce is dedicated to building strong relationships and driving positive outcomes.

Charmi is a graduate from the University of Guelph holding a Bachelor of Bio-Resource Management. After she completed her undergraduate degree, she decided to pursue a career in Administration. Charmi currently provides support for LD Human Resources in the areas of Administration and Marketing.

Charmi is a dedicated team player, eager to support her colleagues in every aspect of the business. With a growth mindset and diverse experience, she excels in being diligent, collaborating and staying organized, contributing significantly to her role's success.

Katelyn

HR Generalist

Katelyn is an enthusiastic HR Generalist with four years of experience, mainly in the manufacturing and government sectors. She holds an Advanced Diploma in Human Resources. With a passion for training and development, Katelyn is committed to continuous learning and growth in her HR role.

Katelyn is passionate finding solutions that benefit both employees and employers, working closely with teams to create a positive and productive work environment. She thrives on collaborating with employees and leadership, always aiming to improve workplace dynamics and drive success. Hanin Al-Zaben

Hanin is a certified Human Resources Professional who holds a Bachelor of Arts from University of Toronto, a certificate in Human Resources Management and a certified Professional Transcendence Coach.

She is a conscientious Human Resources Professional bringing passion for helping employers identify, develop, and retain qualified candidates. Skilled at partnering with management teams to build cultures centered on employee value and progress. Her experience includes Business Partnering with leaders, Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, employee engagement, Health and Safety, and Change Management. Hanin is looking to partner with clients and supports their HR needs while she continues to develop and advance her HR career.

Paige Smith Dasilva

HR Generalist

Paige is a highly driven and dedicated HR Generalist with a strong commitment to employee well-being. With comprehensive experience across key areas of human resources—including workplace investigations, grievance resolution, discipline and attendance management, and union relations—Paige brings both strategic insight and hands-on expertise to every situation. Approachable, proactive, and solution-oriented, she excels at building trust with employees and leadership alike, fostering positive workplace environments even in complex or unionized settings.

Paige also brings valuable experience supporting and participating in Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) initiatives, contributing to the development of safer, more compliant workplaces through active collaboration, hazard assessments, and policy development. With a strong foundation in recruitment and employee relations, she supports organizational goals through compliant, compassionate, and results-driven HR practices. A graduate of Humber College’s Business Management program, Paige is currently pursuing the Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation to further expand her professional impact.

Victoria Neilas

HR COORDINATOR

Victoria graduated from Western University with a Bachelor of Management and Organizational Studies in Consumer Behavior. Currently pursuing her Certificate in Human Resources Management, her next step is to obtain her CHRP designation to further deepen her commitment to human resources.

Known for being thoughtful, proactive, and approachable, Victoria brings a people-first mindset to everything she does. She is hard-working and determined, seeking any opportunity to expand her knowledge and skill set.
